Defending champion Novak Djokovic is out of the Australian open after losing to Stanislas Wawrinka. The match was tied at 2-sets all but Wawrinka won the fifth and final set 8-6 against a tired looking opponent. Tomas Berdych powered through to the semi-finals earlier. The Czech beat fourth seed David Ferrer in four sets. In the women's draw - 19-year-old Canadian Eugenie Bouchard edged past former world number one Ana Ivanovic. She'll face Li Na in the last four, who thrashed Flavia Pennetta.
