West Ham's League Cup dream was shattered last night as Manchester City ran riot at Eastlands. The home team claimed victory in the semi-final first leg 6-nil. It's been a miserable week so far for West Ham fans after they were thumped 5-nil at Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Manager Sam Allardyce says his patched up side did their best.
