wexford senior and hurling football teams defeated in weekend double header
In Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League, All-Ireland Champions Clare overcame Tipperary by 4-15 to 20 points at Semple Stadium. While at Nowlan Park, Kilkenny overcame Galway by 2-16 to 1-16 to move top of the table. Waterford beat Dublin by 1-13 to 1-10. In Division 1B it finished Limerick 1-14 Wexford 2-8 while Laois beat Antrim 2-21 to 21 points. Cork defeated Offaly by 1-24 to 1-18.
