wexford top ahl division table after win over offaly
In Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League Sunday Wexford beat Offaly by 2-19 to 2-13 in New Ross, making it two wins out of two games and leaving Wexford on top of the Division table. The next game is away to Limerick, Limerick thrashed Antrim by 3-26 to 12 points at the Gaelic Grounds, on the 9th of March. Also in division 1B, Cork beat Laois 0-14 to 0-7 on Saturday night. In Division 1A Kilkenny beat Tipperary in the Allianz National Hurling League after an unbelievable game at Nowlan Park. A hatrick apiece from Colin Fennelly and Seamus Callinan contributed to a 10-goal thriller in Kilkenny, with the home side running out winners by 5-20 to 5-14. Kilkenny trailed by 10 points at one stage in the first half. Elsewhere, Dublin beat All-Ireland Champions Clare by 2-17 to 17 points at Parnell Park and Waterford beat Galway by 22 points to 1-13 at Walsh Park. Meanwhile, Connacht won the Interprovincial Football Final. They beat Ulster by 2-19 to 1-07 in Tuam.
