10 year old boy recovering at dublin home after dog attack
A 10 year old boy is recovering at home after he was attacked by a dog in Dublin. Cameron Lynch needed more than 50 stitches to his face and underwent surgery in Temple Street hospital after the incident on Thursday afternoon. He was playing near his grandmother's house at the time, and the husky-type dog has since been destroyed. His mother Jacqueline says Cameron told her how he had been petting the dog and turned his attention to another one when the bigger dog became aggressive. "Cameron said when he turned around the dog growled, and he could see his teeth and he just pinned him up against the wall...and it was mauling him" she said. "He said he tried kicking the dog off him and the little boy and his friend was kicking the dog - then the neighbour came out and eventually the dog let him go" she added.
