2 irish people injured in the barcelona attack

Two Irish people have sustained leg injuries in the attack in Barcelona.

The family of 4 involved are originally from the central Philippines but live in Ireland. A man and a 5 year old boy were hurt when a van drove down Las Ramblas. The Filipino Consul General in Madrid Dr. Emmanuel Fernandez said they were on a family holiday for one of the children's birthday.
