The first Syrian refugees have come to live in County Wexford.
37 in total arrived yesterday and will be housed in units mainly in and around Wexford town. In all 18 Syrian families are planned to reside in Wexford under the Refugee Resettlement Programme. The Mayor of Wexford Councillor Frank Staples has extended welcome to the new inhabitants.
