An Post has confirmed it has received 110 applications from postmasters around the country expressing an interest in their retirement package
A number are believed to be from County Wexford which could mean the post offices in question will close. In April, An Post announced plans to modernise its branch network throughout the country but included in this were the details of the retirement package which some postmasters are finding attractive.
