Abuse campaigner's funeral to take place later
The funeral of Christine Buckley will take place in Dublin today. The campaigner died at the age of 67 on Tuesday, after a long illness. She was a former resident of the Goldenbridge Institution and worked for more than 25 years on behalf of survivors of institutional abuse. Christine Buckley is survived by her husband Donal and children Darragh, Conor and Cliona.

Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Wexford has once again demonstrated its significant role in fostering economic growth, ranking in the top three Local Enterprise Offices in Ireland for job creation in 2025. The office supported the creation of 391 new jobs, a 19% increase compared to 2024 and marked the 11th consecutive year of growth for the county.
