The Irish division of multinational Royal Dutch BAM is understood to have emerged as the preferred bidder for the contract. The new courthouse will be built around and will include the former Municipal Buildings which housed Wexford Town Council at Wygram. Wexford District Court currently sits at rented premises in Ardcavan while Wexford Circuit Court sits at the old County Hall building.
