The Banking Inquiry's been told NOT to hear evidence from the former Anglo boss David Drumm by video link. Mr Drumm was scheduled to give evidence on Wednesday from the United States. However, advice from the banking inquiry's own senior counsel and the DPP has advised against the move. The inquiry is to meet tomorrow in private session to hear the legal advice and would be expected to sanction not hearing evidence from Mr Drumm by video link.
