Black ice leads to arklow bypass closure
A number of motorists had a narrow escape this morning when they hit black ice on the Arklow bypass. A number of cars were badly damaged when they skidded on the ice on both carraigeways. However there are no reports of injuries. Arklow gardai had to close the motorway for a time to deal with the accidents and a detour was put into operation through the town.
