Some bosses are disciplining staff by slashing their hours.
That's according to the Mandate Trade Union which is calling for a ban on zero hour contracts - where staff don't know from week to week how much they'll be working - if at all. The union claims tens of thousands of workers are affected in sectors like retail, hospitality and the media.
