A County Carlow teenager who made an impassioned online plea for life saving treatment for cancer has been overwhelmed with the response.
Shauntelle Tynan has one of the rarest forms of a rare cancer where the only treatment available is in Texas. The eighteen year old has been suffering for two years now and made the online plea on Monday. The amount of funding handed over through Go Fund Me.ie is constantly changing but at the moment stands at over €680,000. Shantelles brother Dylan who lives in New Ross and speaking on Morning Mix said the response is phenomenal.
