Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune has called on tourism providers not to raise prices in Wexford when the tourism season kicks off on St Patricks Day.
The Ireland South representative was speaking in relation to a new report by Failte Ireland who say tourist numbers who describe Ireland as good value are falling. According to the report, only 51% of tourists who come here would recommend Ireland based on value for money. Clune has called on the service industry in Wexford to 'think strategically' and to not kill the geese that lays golden eggs.
