Co. wexford sees a drop in house construction
County Wexford is one of six counties which has seen a drop in house construction in the past six months. The drop in the county is in the order of 4 percent but the drop in County Wicklow is around 63 percent. Official figures show 200 houses have been built in County Wexford since the start of the year of which 126 are one off homes. This is causing concern as the number of homes being built for sale or through social housing is not near enough to cater for current housing demand.
