Co. wicklow man arrives home during burglary after alarm activated
An alarm activation led a County Wicklow man to return home to find his home being burglared. The incident happened yesterday afternoon. Three men in their late teens and early 20's are appearing in court today following the robbery at a house in Dunlavin near Baltinglass in Co Wicklow yesterday. The three were arrested after the owner of the house returned at around 2 o'clock following an alarm activation and disturbed a number of intruders who fled the scene. During a follow up operation Gardaí assisted by the Air Support Unit arrested four men a short distance away. One of the men has since been released without charge. A shotgun and a small amount of cash taken during the incident was recovered.
