Colorado cinema gunman found guilty of murders
A man has been found guilty of multiple counts of first degree murder for the Colorado cinema shootings in 2012. James Holmes (27) killed 12 people at a midnight premiere of a Batman film in the Denver suburb of Aurora. Jurors rejected his insanity defence - and he could now face the death penalty. Survivor Marcus Weaver saw his friend Rebecca Wingo die. "My hope is that he remembers all the people who were in the court today, all the names that were read, all the counts that were read, and take the moratorium off the death penalty - so that we can truly have justice, the victims and the families" he said.
