COMPANIES CAN'T AFFORD TO INCREASE MINIMUM WAGE BY 30c - IBEC

Companies can't afford further increases to the minimum wage, according to a leading employers group.

IBEC claim there's no justification for the 30 cent rise in the lowest pay bracket. The increase works out at around 12 euro a week for those working full time. Director of Employer Relations at IBEC Maeve McElwee says she disagrees with the rise.
