County wexford students involved in jailbreak event
Two County Wexford students are hoping to get as far away from Dublin in a Jailbreak event taking place tomorrow. The competition sees students from across Ireland leaving Kilmainham jail in Dublin in the hope of reaching the farthest distance in 36 hours without using any of their own money. Sydney and Singapore were just some of the places students managed to travel to last year. UCD student and Gorey native Johnny Flavin says the event is in aid of the St.Vincent De Paul and Amnesty International. Fellow Gorey student Oran McDonald is also taking part in the event tomorrow.
