Court appearance following fatal crash in south wicklow
A man is due to appear in court later following a fatal road collision in South Wicklow in the early hours of yesterday morning. The single-vehicle crash happened at around 4am at Croneyhorn on the road between Shillelagh and Carnew. A 23 year old local man died when the car he was a passenger in collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at scene and a post mortem on his body is being carried out at Naas General Hospital this morning Gardai arrested a man in his early 20s and he is being detained at Gorey Garda Station He will appear at a sitting of Bray District Court today.
