Cruise ship to dock in rosslare next year
County Wexford is expected to be given a massive boost next year with the arrival of a cruise ship. The MS Albatros will visit Rosslare Europort on the 5th of August next year. The ship will call at Rosslare as part of its cruise of Ireland and Britain, which begins from Germany and will be the first Cruise Ship to visit Rosslare Europort in over 20 years. A Working Group led by the General Manager of Rosslare Europort John Lynch, including representatives of Wexford County Council and Fáilte Ireland and supported by Visit Wexford, have been working on developing the cruise business at Rosslare. It's hoped that this will be the first of many cruises that will call at the port. The MS Albatros has a capacity for 850 guests.
