Talks are to take place aimed at securing the future viability of the post office network.
A facilitator has been appointed by the Department of Communications to chair discussions between Postmasters and company management after the government approved a 30 million euro investment in the network. The Communications Minister Denis Naughten says they need to develop new business opportunities and offer a wider range of services to bring the company back to profitability.
