1.8 million euro in funding has been announced for County Wexford under the government's scheme for the adaptation of homes.
Fine Gael TD Michael D'arcy says the money will be spent in the county to help older people and people with disabilities stay in their own homes. He urged people to apply for the grant which can be up to thirty thousand for a the adaptation of a home. There are also grants for housing and mobility aids.
