A row has broken out between party headquarters and a former Wexford Fine Gael TD and MEP. Avril Doyle has come out in support of the party's Deirdre Clune. That's despite official party strategy to support current MEP Sean Kelly as number one and Wicklow TD Simon Harris number two in the Leinster area of the Ireland South constituency. She says she's been supporting the Cork woman from the start and will continue to do so.
