Gardaí are warning Wexford residents to stay alert as reports of fraudulent text messages are on the rise once again.
The scams often appear to come from Revenue, banks, delivery services, or other government departments, urging people to click links or share personal details. Victims have reported losing hundreds of euro in some cases. Bunclody Sergeant Margo Kennedy is urging locals not to click on suspicious links and to report any scams to the Gardaí.
