Gardai investigate death of toddler in road accident
Gardai in Laois are investigating after a toddler was killed in a road collision today. The three year old girl was hit by the van in St Brigid's place in Portlaoise at twenty past two this afternoon. The girl was rushed to the Midland Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The scene has been sealed off and a forensic collision examination will be carried out.
