Gardai searching for two men following ferns crash
Gardai are seeking the public's help after two men fled the scene of a fatal accident near Ferns last night. An 81 year old man who was driving the car died in the accident which happened at Ballylough in Ferns at about half past 10. The man was pronounced dead at the scene while a woman in her 50's, who was a passenger in the car, was brought to Wexford General Hospital with injuries described as serious. The two occupants of the second car, which was reported stolen earlier that day, left the scene of the crash on foot. Gardaí are now appealing for the public's help in tracing the men along with a red volkswagon passat saloon car with a partial registration of 98 G stolen in the Ferns area after the accident.
