Get Involved in Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Schools across Wexford are being called upon to support children living in poverty around the world by participating in Ireland's most loved Christmas appeal – the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. As the charity celebrates its 15th year of spreading festive joy, Team Hope is inviting schools, employers, individuals and community organizations across Wexford to take part by registering online at teamhope.ie.

Since its inception in 2010, Team Hope has delivered over 2.8 million shoebox gifts, with the goal of surpassing three million this year. These shoeboxes are often the only Christmas gifts many children in Africa and Eastern Europe will receive, packed with not just toys and treats, but with the essential gifts of love and hope. Team Hope CEO, Deborah Lowry, emphasized the transformative power of a simple shoebox: “A shoebox, often packed by children for children, carries not only toys and treats but also the invisible gifts of love and hope. That kindness, traveling across oceans, reminds a child that they are not forgotten – that someone, somewhere cares." To send a gift of hope this Christmas, visit www.teamhope.ie to register your school, group, or family and become part of this heartwarming initiative.
