Gorey to rosslare rail line closure would be madness - browne

It would be utter madness to close the Gorey to Rosslare rail line at this time.

That's according to Enniscorthy Fianna Fail TD James Browne who is demanding action from Transport Minister Shane Ross. The route is one of four that has been mentioned that could be up for cancellation by Iarnrod Eireann. Deputy Browne says all transport networks to Rosslare Europort are vital if Ireland is to remain connected to Europe post Brexit. He also called on the people of County Wexford to "resist any and all attempts to close the Gorey to Rosslare rail link".
