Help Shape the Future of Wexford Libraries – Complete the Public Consultation Survey

Wexford Public Library Services is inviting everyone in the community to participate in a Public Consultation Survey as part of the process to create the Library Development Plan for 2026-2030

This new plan will serve as a roadmap for the growth of the county’s libraries, improving services and enhancing community engagement for the years to come.

The Public Library Survey aims to collect valuable feedback on the current library experience and identify future priorities. The survey will help assess what libraries in the county are doing well, where improvements can be made, and how services can evolve to better meet the diverse needs of the community. This includes increasing accessibility, introducing new services, and optimising available resources to better serve everyone.

Cllr. Joe Sullivan, Cathaoirleach of Wexford County Council, highlighted the importance of community involvement, saying:
“Our libraries are vital community hubs, and this library development plan will ensure libraries continue to be responsive to the needs of our citizens. We want to hear from everyone—current users and those who don’t visit us—so we can create the best possible library service for our county.”

How to Participate:

You can share your feedback by completing the online Public Library Survey. There are two versions available:

The survey is open until 13th February 2026 and is available online, in hardcopy, and at all local libraries across County Wexford. Printed surveys can be collected from your local library or can be posted out on request. Once completed, printed surveys should be returned to:

Wexford Library Management Services
Wexford County Council
Block D, Level 2, County Hall
Carricklawn, Wexford
Y35 WY93

Alternatively, surveys can be returned to your local library.
