Indies Down, Biggies Steady In New Poll

Support for Independent TD's and others continues to decline according the the latest opinion poll.

The Millward Brown poll for the Sunday Independent sees them sharing 15% of the vote - losing almost half the support they had at the time of the general election. The Independent Alliance are faring the best within that group - on five per cent of the vote. The larger parties retain the majority of the vote with Fine Gael on 29%, Fianna Fáil on 27% and Sinn Féin on 20%, while Labour are on 8% and the Greens on 2%.
