Gibraltar's financial regulator has begun an investigation into Enterprise Insurance which collapsed in July, at the time it had 14,000 Irish policyholders on its books.
This follows Gibraltars Supreme Court appointing a liquidator to the company yesterday. As of midnight all motor policies written by the insolvent company will cease to be effective. Â According to the Wexford based underwriting agency for Enterprise Insurance some six hundred policies remain live at the company.
