Gardai believe Katie Taylor's father was the target of a shooting in Wicklow this morning which left a man in his 50s dead.
Pete Taylor suffered non-life threatening injuries in the incident at Bray Boxing Club, while another man is seriously injured. Meanwhile, a van believed to have been used in the attack has been located in Dublin.

Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Wexford has once again demonstrated its significant role in fostering economic growth, ranking in the top three Local Enterprise Offices in Ireland for job creation in 2025. The office supported the creation of 391 new jobs, a 19% increase compared to 2024 and marked the 11th consecutive year of growth for the county.
