Wexford TD Paul Kehoe has moved to scotch rumours that he's interested in running for the European Parliament. Despite reported pressure from the Fine Gael party hierarchy, the Minister of State has repeated that he is intent on remaining in the Dail. Last month the government chief whip released a press statement saying a run for Europe might be considered sometime in the future but now is no the time.
