Low cost alcohol is putting our young people at risk - alcohol action

Health campaigners are warning about the dangers of cheap drink as a new survey shows the low cost of getting drunk.

Alcohol Action Ireland claims just 6 Euro is enough for women to buy a dangerous amount of booze. While men only need to spend 9 Euro to put themselves at risk. Psychiatrist Dr Bobby Smyth says young women are most at risk from our drinking culture.
