170 workers are to lose their jobs by Christmas after Cameron in Longford announced it is closing its manufacturing operations.
Up to 50 jobs will be retained in research and development but it's a major blow for the County and devastating news for the employees and their families. Local Fine Gael Deputy Peter Burke says he has made contact with both the Minister for Jobs and the Minister for Social Protection following the announcement.
Wexford Youth Input at Inaugural Ireland-UK Youth Forum
The inaugural Ireland–UK Youth Forum kicked off today in Dublin, with 60 young delegates from across Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales coming together to shape the future of Ireland-UK relations. LEO Wexford Creates 391 New Jobs in 2025, Ranking Among Top 3 Nationwide
Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Wexford has once again demonstrated its significant role in fostering economic growth, ranking in the top three Local Enterprise Offices in Ireland for job creation in 2025. The office supported the creation of 391 new jobs, a 19% increase compared to 2024 and marked the 11th consecutive year of growth for the county.
