A man is due in court this morning in connection with an alleged sexual assault in west Dublin.
It's understood an American tourist in her 20s was attacked in Corduff Park in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Detectives have sealed off the area for a forensic exam and have been trawling through CCTV. They've since charged a man in his 30s in relation to the attack and he's due before Blanchardstown District Court today.
Wexford Youth Input at Inaugural Ireland-UK Youth Forum
The inaugural Ireland–UK Youth Forum kicked off today in Dublin, with 60 young delegates from across Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales coming together to shape the future of Ireland-UK relations. Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Wexford has once again demonstrated its significant role in fostering economic growth, ranking in the top three Local Enterprise Offices in Ireland for job creation in 2025. The office supported the creation of 391 new jobs, a 19% increase compared to 2024 and marked the 11th consecutive year of growth for the county.
