A man in his mid-thirties is due to appear in court today in relation to a fatal stabbing in Waterford.
Gardai were called to New Street in Waterford where they discovered a 28-year-old man who had been stabbed during the early hours of Saturday morning. He was taken to University Hospital Waterford where he was pronounced dead. A 35-year-old man was arrested nearby, and questioned under Section 4 of The Criminal Justice Act. He's due to appear before Waterford District Court at 10:30am.
