New school biulding for barntown
The Chairman of Barntown National School board, John Carroll, says the building of its new school building will commence in the coming days. The contracts were signed on Friday and a start date will be announced very shortly. Mr.Carroll has expressed his gratitude to all those who have made the proposed new school a reality, including the board, all involved in designing and building the school, politicians and the pupils and parents. It's hoped that all building works will be completed and the new school ready for use by April next year.
