There have been more calls for the St Senan's facility in Enniscorthy to be made into a third level facility.
Neil Hughes from Baker Tilly Hughes Blake in the town says a university is vital to attracting jobs and investment to the area. It's believed that some private investors are taking an interest in the former psychiatric hospital with a view of turning it into a college.
