Nurses will return to talks at the Workplace Relations Commission this morning ahead of a work to rule by 30,000 of them next week.
Yesterday's negotiations failed to make enough progress to avoid the action. The long running dispute over pay and conditions centres on problems around staff recruitment and retention. Both the INMO and SIPTU are looking to improve conditions for nurses following the huge increase in trolley numbers at the beginning of the year.
