Over 1.5 million for co. wexford's piers and harbours following storm damage
County Wexford has been allocated just over 1.5 million euro following storm damage to piers and harbours. Minister for the Marine Simon Coveney has announced a 23 million euro package which will address damage following bad weather earlier this year. The package also includes funding for capital investment in major harbour developments. Courtown is to benefit the most with over 1.1 million of the Wexford allocation to go to repairing it's pier and harbour. Wexford Harbour is to be given 9,000 euro, Cahore over 49,000, Kilmore Quay 180,000, Fethard 9,000, Slade Harbour 54,000, St. Helens almost 46,000, Ballyhack 45,000 and Carne over 13,000.
