Wexford farmers are to benefit financially under the Natural Constraints scheme to the tune of over €1.9 million.
1,044 farmers in the county will receive the aid as a first step in rowing back on cuts during the recession. Junior Minister Michael D'Arcy says many farmers living on hills and in disadvantaged areas took a big hit during the recession and the financial package announced will go towards rectifying that.
