Publication of former anglo boss' statement suspended by banking inquiry
The Banking Inquiry says it'll suspend publication of the statement of former Anglo boss David Drumm. Last night the DPP advised she opposes the statement being made public, but the inquiry has sought its own legal advice after previously agreeing to accept the written statement. Following this and a meeting in private session this morning it has decided to suspend publication of the statement and liaise further with the DPP. It'll now continue hearing from witnesses - including friend and advisor to former Taoiseach Brian Cowen, Fintan Drury.
