Sunday and Friday are the most dangerous days of the week on Irish roads.
78 people were killed in the first six months of the year, the majority happened on rural roads. 11 drivers and three passengers weren't wearing a seat belt while the most deaths occurred in Cork, Tipperary and Dublin.
