A number of motorists became trapped in heavy snow in Co Carlow last night.
Firefighters from Bagenalstown attended the scene on Mount Leinster at around 8pm. Everyone involved safely made their way down from the mountain. Carlow Fire & Rescue Service is appealing to people to avoid the area as roads are impassable.
