Rogue traders warning sent out
People are being asked to beware of rogue traders who are offering to do house painting and repairs. There are a number of reports of such operators in South Wexford in recent weeks with at least three elderly householders handing over money. National PRO of Victim Assist Gerry Kealy is advising people to be wary of people calling offering to carry out maintenance work. He says they quote a small sum and then come back and say they need more which results in thousands of euro being exchanged.
