A status orange rain warning is in place for Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford this afternoon.
The alert for Waterford expires at four o'clock, while the other two counties will have intense and heavy rainfall until eight. A status yellow rain warning also runs until this evening in every other county, apart from Kerry.
