Wallace arrested for attempting to access us military aircraft at shannon
Independent TD's Wexford's Mick Wallace and Clare Daly - have been released without charge - after being arrested after trying to access US military aircraft at Shannon Airport. Shannonwatch says the two were attempting to search a US Hercules cargo plane and a modified Boeing 737 for weapons. The pair were stopped on the tarmac by airport police before being handed over the Gardai. They were taken to Shannon Garda station, before being released without charge A file will be prepared for the DPP.
